  • Alcohol Use

    Recurrent use of alcohol that significantly impair any of the following areas of your life: social, occupational, recreational, relational, and health/ medical.

    We will work towards changing behaviors and thought process’ that can lead to excessive drinking and that support continued harmful drinking.

  • Anger Management

    Anger is a normal automatic emotion that is described as … a strong feeling of being upset, feeling of displeasure, and feeling of annoyance. However, when feelings of normal emotion escalate into uncontrollable anger, and the ability to think rationally is compromised, anger is no longer a normal emotion, but it is now a problem.

    Support

    We will work towards managing and controlling your response to anger by evaluating your perception, values, and thoughts. Help reduce the number of negative outbursts by preventing emotional hijacking. Promote self-awareness, preventative strategies, social skills, and personal development.

  • Anxiety

    Mood disorder that causes feelings of fear, nervousness, or dread, which drives the avoidance of the feared stimuli -(engagement of fight or flight response).

    Support

    We will work towards lessening anxiety levels, duration & frequency. While working to decrease biased thoughts that can feed into anxious behavior.

  • Caregiver Burnout

    A state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion/burnout that happens while you are taking care of someone else. You may feel tired, anxious or depressed. Also, unchecked caregiver stress can lead to negative outcomes on your health.

    We will work towards strengthening emotional resilience, embracing acceptance of things you can’t change and implementing self-care practices.

  • Chronic Illness

    It is common to feel sad or discouraged when managing a chronic condition. You may be facing ongoing limitations on your life along with dealing with ongoing treatments to assist with your diagnosis. Having a chronic illness can cause low mood that can lead to depression.

    Support

    We will work towards promoting your resilience during this time. Mood disorders such as depression and anxiety are common in people with chronic conditions, because the onset of chronic illness is so life-changing and the adjustment to a new way of life can be very difficult.

  • Chronic Stress

    Stress is a general response to experiences that presents as worry/uncontrollable thoughts or physical tension. While short-term stress can help a person feel focused on goals or escape a dangerous situation, chronic stress can lead to emotional, mental, and physical problems.

    We will work towards a greater understanding of your stressful moments. Focusing on promoting relaxation and problem-solving skills to gain strategies to cope effectively as it occurs.

  • Depression

    There are different types of depression, some of which develop due to specific circumstances. Depression can negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed

    Support

    We will work towards identifying any distorted or negative thinking, with the goal of changing thoughts and behaviors to respond to challenges in a more positive manner.

  • Grief

    Feelings of misery experienced after loss, low mood, anxious feelings of next steps, confusion, and eagerness for understanding can cause difficult feelings. Th grieving process is personal and takes time.

    We will work towards building coping strategies to deal with tough days ahead during your grief process.

  • Life Coach

    Are you seeking guidance to optimize your performance and achieve specific outcomes. Maybe have some doubt about next steps in life.

    We will work towards emphasizing your strengths to enhance personal development, identify obstacles to create a path to overcome them, and create personalized strategies to reach your full potential.

  • Life Transition

    Positive or negative periods in life involving lots of change to your lifestyle, which can lead to uncertain changes or created along with stress and worry.

    We will work towards helping you to identify and process difficult emotions, in addition to setting realistic goals and expectations.

  • Shoplifting Addiction

    Stealing, taking something that belongs to others without permission, can become an addiction. Some steal due to financial gain while others steal due to poor impulse control that can lead to an addictive, compulsive disorder called kleptomania.

    Support

    We will work towards understanding why you shoplift and steal. Prevent, reduce, and eliminate shoplifting and theft behavior. Help you manage and control your responses to any active mood disorders that may be attributing to your desire to steal.
